Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF)
In 1984, Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) awarded its first grant to Quest International to support and expand the Lions Quest program. From that moment, Quest became a central element of LCIF’s commitment to youth development. Over the next eighteen years, LCIF provided organizational support through grants and technical collaboration, while Lions Clubs strengthened the program at the local level by assisting schools with community-based implementation.
On September 30, 2002, LCIF took formal ownership of Lions Quest. To date, LCIF has awarded more than 360 grants, totaling over USD 20 million, to establish and expand Lions Quest programs around the world. Today, Lions Quest is available in over 105 countries and delivered in more than 40 languages, making it one of the world’s most extensive and impactful Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programs.
Lions have played a vital role in this global success. Their ongoing support includes local fundraising, coordinating teacher training, hosting parent meetings, mentoring youth, and partnering with students in meaningful service projects.
